Simple Panner 65 kiddos favourite

Simple Panner 65 recipe
Panner:
Paneer or cottage chesse contains calcium, magnesium and phosphorous.Paneer contains sufficient nutrients available for bone growth, especially in the children.
This is a simple and kid friendly recipe..I'm sure your kids will finish the plates.
Simple Panner 65:
Ingredients:
Milk panner-100 grams(I used milky mist brand)
Whisked curd - 3 tsp
Turmeric powder - 1 tsp
Chilli powder - 2 tsp adjust accordingly
Garam masala - 1 tsp
Corn flour - 2 tsp
Salt - 1 to 2 tsp
Oil for frying
Step 1:
Whisk the curd with a fork or Whisk.Cut the panner into cubes.
Step 2:
Add turmeric,chilli powder,Garam masala,corn flour and salt to the whisked curd.Add the panner cubes.Marinate for 20 mins.
Step 3:
Heat oil in a hard bottom pan or non stick pan.Drop the marinated panner cubes into the oil fry well till golden brown.
Tip: While frying the panner add curry leaves to the oil before you drop the panner cubes it prevents panner sticking to the bottom of the pan.
Simple Panner 65 is ready to be served.

Rice is primarily composed of carbs.Carbs in rice are mainly in the form of starch. Acts as a source of fuel for the body. Rice is made up of long chains of complex carbohydrates that take time to break down. Thus, carbohydrates present in rice provide a constant supply of energy. Rice is gluten free and so it has gained popularity among those who are avoiding wheat products. 
This is my grandma's recipe its a easy one that we could make for office or kids lunch its a quick recipe try out and enjoy..

INGREDIENTS REQUIRED:
Rice -1 cup
Toor dal-1/4 cup
Small onions-5-6
Green chilli-2
Tomato-1 ripe
Garlic - 3-4
curry leaves-1 spring
oil-2tsp
Mustard seed-1/2 tsp
fennel seeds-1tsp
Garam masala-1/2 tsp
Turmeric powder-1/2 tsp
Salt - 1-2 tsp

Step 1:

Wash the rice and dal and soak it in water for 20 mins. I have take 1 cup rice and 1/4 cup dal.


Cut small onions into small pieces, slit the green chilli, chop the tomato.Peel 4 clove of garlic and mash it with a stone grinder or u can cut it into small pieces.


Step 2:


Take a pressure cooker add 2 tsp oil/ghee heat it.Add mustard seeds, Fennel seeds allow them to splutter.Add onions fry well then green chilli, tomato and garlic fry well.Add turmeric, Garam masala and curry leaves.Add 1tsp salt.

Step 3:


Add the soaked rice with water.For 1 cup rice add 2 cups of water if u want the rice to be more soft add 1/4 cup more water.

Step 4:


Check salt and pressure cook the rice for 3 whistles.Sprinkle some coriander leaves and spring onion  leaves its optional.


Cook well.After 3 whistles switch off the flame and let the pressure release completely.


The rice is cooked well and tastes yummy..Its simple and delicious try out..!!

Mushroom Onion fry|Mushroom for rice and Roti|Mushroom recipe


Mushrooms are low in calories, high in fiber, and contain many important vitamins and minerals.Most mushrooms have a high protein content. This can be useful for vegetarians or anyone looking to increase the protein content in their diet.
They are prebiotic, which means they nourish the good bacteria in your gut. 
Mushrooms contain a class of proteins called lectins, which are able to bind to abnormal cells and cancer cells and label the cells for destruction by our immune system.
kids are very fond of eating this lovely tasty dish..its nutrilicious ...!!

MUSHROOM ONION FRY

INGREDIENTS REQUIRED:
Button mushrooms-1 pack
Big onions-2
chilli-1
Spring onions - 3 tsp cut
curry leaves-1 spring
coriander leaves little 
Ginger garlic- 1 tsp

For marination


Turmeric powder-1/2 tsp
Garam masala-1tsp
Chicken 65 masala/Gobi 65 masala-1tsp
Thick curd-2 tsp
Chilli powder-1tsp


Step 1:


Add all masala's to a mixing bowl and add thick curd, salt, 65 masala to this and mix well into smooth paste add the clean diced mushroom to this mix well let the masala coat the mushroom nicely.




Leave this marination to rest for an hour..

Step 2:

Deep fry the mushroom in oil,i used sunflower oil to fry them.Add the mushroom in batches.
TIP:While frying add some curry leaf to the oil it prevents the mushroom from sticking to the bottom.


You can stop with this step and give the children as mushroom 65.

Step 3:


Fry the chopped big onions in the same oil let it turn golden then take it out.


                                          Step 4:


In a pan add the onions and mushroom fried, add green chilli,1 tsp Ginger garlic paste curry leaves, spring onion leaves chopped and finally coriander leaves. Fry all together well for 5 minutes.Switch off the flame.

Yummy tasty Mushroom onion fry is ready to be served..
Goes well with rice,Chapathi and roti..

The cake is a sweet dessert that is baked it is the modification of bread. It is baked using flour, eggs, milk ect..This is a simple cooker cake recipe which all can try out. its quite easy and it is made using the cooker. 
I love making cakes for my kid and making an oven-baked cake needs lots of patience so I make it in a cooker which seems so simple.
The procedure is quite simple and easy. Try this out for your kids.
You can add dried fruits and nuts to this cake. Add raisins, dates, dry cherry.. to make it more healthy.

Ingredients Required:

1 Cup flour(All purpose-maida)
2/3 cups sugar
1 tsp Baking soda
1 tsp Baking powder
1 Egg
1 tsp Vanilla essence
4 Tsp melted butter
1/2 Cup milk
Dried fruits(dates,tutti fruity) and nuts
Salt-a pinch

Procedure:

Step 1:

Take maida 1 cup and sieve well.

Step 2:
Take 2/3 cup of sugar and make it into powder by grinding it in a mixer.

Step 3:
Add the maida and the powdered sugar to a mixing bowl, Add vanilla essence. Add baking soda and baking powder.


Step 4:
Break one egg and beat it well (if u don't want to add egg u can omit this and add milk 1 cup)

Step 5:
Pour the egg mixture into the dry powder and mix well, Add 1/2 cup milk. Combine all the ingredients well. See to it there should be no lumps of powder. Add melted butter 4 tsp and tutti fruity.

Step 6:
Heat a cooker with no whistle and casket. Add salt or sand inside the cooker. Place a stand or any flat vessel upside down. Let this be preheated for 10 min.


Step 7:
Take an aluminum can pan or any flat vessel and grease with butter inside it. Now add some maida and tap it so it covers all the sides. This step makes the cake not to stick to the pan.

Step 8:

Pour the cake batter to the cake pan and tap it gently to clear the air bubbles. Sprinkle some fruits on the top.

Step 9:
Place the pan over the stand in the cooker and cook on low flame for 30-40 mins.

Step 10:
After 30  min switch off the flame check with a knife if the knife is clean then the cake is ready. Do not take the cake immediately wait until its cooled completely. First, clear the sides with the knife then flip the cake to a plate.



The cake is ready to be served. Try out and comment!!














5min Snacks for kids|Banana Paniyaram using Idly batter|How to make Banana Paniyaram with Idly batter




Bananas are rich in potassium. This mineral is important as it helps maintain fluid levels in the body. Banana fruit is composed of soft, easily digestible flesh made up of simple sugars like fructose and sucrose that upon consumption instantly replenishes energy and revitalizes the body.
I give this recipe as snacks to my son for school it's yummy and healthy. It can be made within 10 min of time, I don't add white sugar in any of my sweet recipes. I suggest using brown sugar/jaggery/palm sugar as it has healthy properties. Use riped banana Puvan/Rasthali will be perfect.

  • Ingredients Required:
  • Ripe banana-3 nos
  • Idly batter-2 cups
  • Brown sugar-5 tsp
  • Cardamon powder(If required)
  • Step 1:
  • Take the idly batter and add the banana and mash it well using a masher or by hands. Combine the batter and banana into a smooth texture.
  • Step 2:
  • Add the brown sugar and mix well into a thick consistency you can add cardamom powder to this for flavor if you don't like avoid it.
  • Step 3:
  • Heat the paniyaram pan with ghee or oil and pour the batter slowly in the wholes.
  • Step 4:
  • Cook till its turned brown and then flip the paniyaram's the other side and cook well.

Easy Quick Masala for Chapathi/Poori|Vegetable gravy for Chapathi/poori|How to make Poori chapathi masala

I and my son both love potatoes baked, fried and stuffed with chapati. My kutty son loves small poori with this potato masala. Try out this recipe for your kids they will love it. I made these small flower shaped poori with a cookie cutter.


Ingredients Required:
Potatoes-2nos
Peas-1/2 cup
Big onion -1
Ginger Garlic paste-1 tsp
Tomato-1
Garam masala-1tsp
Turmeric powder-1/2 tsp
Chili powder-1tsp
salt-1-2
coriander leaf


Step 1:
Boil the potatoes and peas in a pressure cooker with a little salt for 2 whistles.


Step 2:
Cut the onions and tomatoes keep them ready. In a hard bottom, pan add oil and fry the onions till golden brown then add the ginger garlic paste and last the tomatoes fry well till they turn mushy.


Step 3:
Add the spice powders garam masala, chili powder, turmeric powder mix well. Add the boiled mashed potato, peas to this mixture.


Step 4:
Add the required salt and add 1 cup water and boil well close the lid and cook on low flame, let the gravy thicken.

Step 5:
Garnish with coriander leaves serve with hot chapatis and poori's
