Bananas are rich in potassium. This mineral is important as it helps maintain fluid levels in the body. Banana fruit is composed of soft, easily digestible flesh made up of simple sugars like fructose and sucrose that upon consumption instantly replenishes energy and revitalizes the body.
I give this recipe as snacks to my son for school it's yummy and healthy. It can be made within 10 min of time, I don't add white sugar in any of my sweet recipes. I suggest using brown sugar/jaggery/palm sugar as it has healthy properties. Use riped banana Puvan/Rasthali will be perfect.
- Ingredients Required:
- Ripe banana-3 nos
- Idly batter-2 cups
- Brown sugar-5 tsp
- Cardamon powder(If required)
- Step 1:
- Take the idly batter and add the banana and mash it well using a masher or by hands. Combine the batter and banana into a smooth texture.
- Step 2:
- Add the brown sugar and mix well into a thick consistency you can add cardamom powder to this for flavor if you don't like avoid it.
- Step 3:
- Heat the paniyaram pan with ghee or oil and pour the batter slowly in the wholes.
- Step 4:
- Cook till its turned brown and then flip the paniyaram's the other side and cook well.
