MUSHROOM ONION FRY
INGREDIENTS REQUIRED:
Button mushrooms-1 pack
Big onions-2
chilli-1
Spring onions - 3 tsp cut
curry leaves-1 spring
coriander leaves little
Ginger garlic- 1 tsp
For marination
Turmeric powder-1/2 tsp
Garam masala-1tsp
Chicken 65 masala/Gobi 65 masala-1tsp
Thick curd-2 tsp
Chilli powder-1tsp
Step 1:
Add all masala's to a mixing bowl and add thick curd, salt, 65 masala to this and mix well into smooth paste add the clean diced mushroom to this mix well let the masala coat the mushroom nicely.
Leave this marination to rest for an hour..
Step 2:
Deep fry the mushroom in oil,i used sunflower oil to fry them.Add the mushroom in batches.
TIP:While frying add some curry leaf to the oil it prevents the mushroom from sticking to the bottom.
You can stop with this step and give the children as mushroom 65.
Step 3:
Fry the chopped big onions in the same oil let it turn golden then take it out.
Step 4:
In a pan add the onions and mushroom fried, add green chilli,1 tsp Ginger garlic paste curry leaves, spring onion leaves chopped and finally coriander leaves. Fry all together well for 5 minutes.Switch off the flame.
Yummy tasty Mushroom onion fry is ready to be served..
Goes well with rice,Chapathi and roti..
